Celebrating the SWVA 18 Under 18 Class of 2026
Join Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia for an evening centered around connection, encouragement, and the future of our region at this year’s Next in Line event, presented by Ridge View Bank, with support from the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Roanoker Magazine.
This special event celebrates the students selected for this year’s 18 Under 18 cohort—young people across Southwest Virginia who are already demonstrating leadership, creativity, initiative, and a commitment to making a difference in their schools and communities.
At Junior Achievement, we believe preparing students for the future goes beyond financial literacy and career readiness. Young people thrive when they are given confidence, exposure to new opportunities, and meaningful connections to the community around them. Next in Line was created to bring those pieces together.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, networking opportunities, a panel discussion featuring local professionals and leaders, and an awards ceremony recognizing this year’s student cohort.
Whether you’re a parent, educator, business professional, mentor, or community member, this event is an opportunity to invest in the next generation and experience firsthand the impact that encouragement and connection can have on a young person’s future.
The event is free to attend, though RSVP is requested.
