Announces 2022 Sponsors and Sponsorships

ROANOKE, Va. (September 19, 2022) -- Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia’s 31st annual Southwest Virginia Business Hall of Fame, presented by Atlantic Union Bank, has announced its sponsors and sponsorship opportunities for 2022.

 

At this important night in business, three business leaders are being honored and recognized for their many contributions:

Sandra Davis (Laureate) former owner of BCR Property Management

Dr. Michael Friedlander (Laureate) Executive Director of Fralin Biomedical Research Institute

Robert Gourdie (Entrepreneur of the Year) Researcher and Entrepreneur, and Founder of Tiny Cargo

 

Their many business and community contributions will be recognized at the 2022 Annual Business Hall of Fame dinner November 16 at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center.

  • Entrepreneur Sponsor ($5,000). Three sponsorships available. Table of 8 guests, display of corporate logo in ballroom and in program book, 4 tickets to VIP reception and more.
  • Summa Cum Laude Sponsor ($3,000). Four sponsorships available. Table of 8 guests, 2 tickets to VIP reception, recognition and more.
  • Table and Class Sponsor ($1,850) Three sponsorships available. Table of 8 guests or 6 guests + 2 students /corporate logo on table and JA Classroom sponsorship.
  • Magna Cum Laude Sponsor ($1,550) Four sponsorships remaining. 4 tickets to the event/ logo displayed during the program/recognition for underwriting the cost of two classroom kits.

 

On the night of the event, Head of the Class tickets will be available to purchase for $20, for a chance to win a seat at the Head of the Class table. The winner and seven tablemates will be escorted to the exclusive center table, where all will win a gift basket valued at more than $300.

 

The event begins with a reception at 6 p.m., with dinner to follow. Tickets are $160 per person or $1,250 for a table of eight. Proceeds benefit Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia, which has served 528,000 students since its founding in 1957 with innovative, relevant programs delivered in schools by volunteers from the business community.
